A man named Armando Alejandro Montalvo was shot by police earlier today, outside the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. The OCPD were called to the scene at around 1:30pm after they received a call about a deranged man brandishing a knife.

When they arrived they claim Montalvo charged at them and because he may have been armed, they shot him causing “life threatening injuries.” He is currently in a serious condition in hospital.

Montalvo who is said to have a record for robbery and battery against an officer, is believed to have been obsessed with one of the female wrestlers at NXT. Despite the obsession he has never had any prolonged contact with anybody in the company.

Although one of his Instagram posts suggests he was going for a job interview at the Center last week, this may have simply been a delusion. He has previously been accused of spreading his faeces and urine on the front of the building, and has allegedly turned up before in wrestling gear and banged on the doors and windows.

Triple H revealed that they company has a retraining order against him:

“Unfortunately a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property was involved in an incident with an Orange County Sherriff’s deputy in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. We defer to the Orange County Sherriff’s department for further comment and information.”

No WWE wrestlers or employees were harmed during today’s incident.
