Sasha Banks Says Injury News Stupid

Sasha Banks has taken to task internet rumors that she is injured. Responding to reports that she injured her arm or shoulder, the NXT Women’s Champion wrote on Tumblr: “No I didn’t stupid news.”

Banks has not been in action since WWE NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable, where she beat Becky Lynch.

Obviously there’s a reason why the Champ hasn’t been featured on the tapings, but so far it’s not clear what that is.

Kevin Owens Praises Tye Dillinger

In a recent interview with the PodNasty Wrestling Podcast NXT Champion Kevin Owens named Tye Dillinger as the most underrated NXT wrestler.

“I think the answer to that would be Tye Dillinger, he’s a Canadian boy and he’s been on TV a few times, he was even on the WWE version of ECW, if you will, a few years ago I believe his name was Gavin Spears at the time,” says Owens.

He’s in NXT right now, and he’s been picking up steam lately so I hope that translates to an NXT TV role. I look up to Tye Dillinger. He’s been around for a long time and there’s just something about him that I really expect and obviously he’s become a good friend throughout the last couple of months but regardless of if he was my friend or not I would be saying the same thing right now. He’s very talented, and it’s not just me who looks up to him, pretty much everyone in the Performance Center looks up to him, not only for the stuff he does in the ring but how he behaves outside of the ring. And I feel like if you’re going to say who’s the most underrated guy—because there’s a lot of underrated guys over there—I’d say Tye Dillinger probably tops that list.

Main Roster: Dream Come True For Neville

Neville told Sky Sports this week that being on the main WWE roster is a dream come true:

I am having the time of my life. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do with my life but, now that I am doing it, it is a little bit surreal. I had been in NXT for two and a half years and felt very well prepared and ready to go, so when WWE finally pulled the trigger it was the start of something I had been waiting for a very long time. I debuted the night after WrestleMania 31 and I will remember that feeling for the rest of my life. It was fantastic.

I have been incredibly fortunate to be thrown into the mix straightaway and you can’t ask for more than that as a newcomer. It is such an opportunity to wrestle those guys, as well as Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus, and it is something I was adamant I was going to grab with both hands.
