Paige Knew Submission Sorority Was Bad Idea

It turns out it wasn’t the fans who first discovered that the Submission Sorority name was a bad idea because of its ties to porn, Paige claims she warned creative before the stable even debuted, and they did nothing.

Speaking at the San Jose, CA Wizard World Comic Con she explained:

“I said to a couple of the writers, I was like, ‘dude, Submission Sorority? Don’t let children Google that. So we have to, like, change it.’ And they were like, ‘oh, we’ll speak with Vince [McMahon] at some point.’ And, I’m like, ‘okay’. And then I see we get called the Submission Sorority on RAW the next day, there are millions of people watching, and then suddenly people are like, ‘oh great, you’re in a porn group’.”

Although we can’t really argue against the name change, couldn’t we have gotten something a little more creative than PCB? If Paige is telling the truth it seems creative don’t listen anyway.

Lana Shows Off Scar

Lana has Tweeted a post-surgery photo of her wrist. She went under the knife last week to repair a left distal radius fracture. She won’t be back on TV until 2016, which is why the Summer Rae storyline has changed directions.

It’s always a shame when somebody gets hurt but many fans will agree that Lana playing the dumb lovestruck character just didn’t seem to click. This gives WWE the opportunity to bring her back in the new year in a more powerful role, truer to the original Rusev manager role. That or something completely different.

2K Sports On Lack of WWE Divas In 2K16

2K Sports issued the following statement about the lack of new generation Divas in WWE 2K16:

With our final roster reveal this past Monday, it was awesome seeing the excitement for The New Day, Enzo and Cass, Mikey Whipwreck, and more. But it was clear that some in the community are frustrated by the lack of the newer Divas added to the main WWE roster recently.

We pushed as hard as we could to include Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley in WWE 2K16, but it simply did not work out for various reasons. While we are not divulging full details on WWE 2K16’s post-launch plans just yet, we can confirm that the Four Horsewomen will not be available as DLC.

We are proud to have and built the largest WWE roster to date featuring the most Divas ever. The WWE 2K16 disc includes all of the Divas on the main roster at the time we locked it in (13 playable in total).

We all agree the Divas Revolution is great for business and look forward to celebrating the Divas even more in future WWE 2K titles.

Technical and time issues are one thing, but one has to hope that this wasn’t a concious decision or something dictated by WWE. In terms of fan interest there’s no doubt that the newer women are more over than a lot of the main roster women.
