Nigel Calls NXT ROH, Final Hogan Lawsuit Settlement, Awesome WrestleMania Set Photo

Nigel McGuinness Botches At TakeOver

Nigel McGuinness made an epic botch while commentating at NXT TakeOver last night. He accidentally called the brand Ring of Honor following Aleister Black’s debut win over Andrade Almas.

“There is not doubt this is gonna be a man to reckon with in the future here in Ring of Honor,” he proclaimed – stunning his colleagues in to silence.

The Brit who made his WWE announcer’s debut during the UK Tournament did used to call the action for ROH, so we’ll give him a pass.

The flubbed line has been edited out of the Network archive of the show.

Hulk Hogan Gets Much Less Money Than Awarded

Hulk Hogan received just 22% of the money he was awarded from his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker Media.

The WWE Hall of Famer told Good Morning America he had to settle for $31 million because the gossip website that leaked the tape was forced in to bankruptcy by the $140.1 million judgment.

“It was never about the money, it was never about winning or losing,” Hogan said. “I just wanted the jury to believe me.”

The Hulkster successfully sued Gawker for publishing the footage of himself and Heather Clem, because it was filmed without his knowledge by Clem’s then-husband ‘Bubba The Love Sponge.’

The recording also exposed racially charged comments by Hogan, which cost him his WWE contract.
