James Ellsworth Wants Contract

SmackDown LIVE’s James Ellsworth recently spoke with the Two Man Power Trip show and was asked if he had long-term contract with WWE. “I do hear stuff but I don’t count my chickens before they hatch, but I don’t know what the future holds,” explained the loveable loser.

“I hope it is bright and I’m having the time of my life and am thankful for every opportunity that World Wrestling Entertainment gives me and I am learning so much just being there and it has been such a blast and everything has been going so well that I hope to be there in the WWE as James Ellsworth until I’m about 75 years old.”

Ellsworth also discussed getting feedback from Vince McMahon:

“Every week after Smackdown I make sure to find him and to say, hey sir how did I do? Every week it has been nothing but great feedback from him and he has been so cool to me and I don’t get to speak to him for an extended amount of time and it’s literally I walk up to him and ask did I do okay and is everything good? Every week he has said good job kid and see you next week. That is what it has been every week and coming from him it means the world because he is the MAN. He is the main guy in this profession. He is THE top guy that nobody is over and I have so much respect for him and what he has done with Sports Entertainment and it is just cool to get that little conversation with him every week but I always make sure to go to him and I always will no matter what.”

Paige Back In The Gym

Paige is back in the gym following neck surgery a few weeks back. Despite all of the recent controversy with suspensions and her relationship with Alberto Del Rio, it looks like the company still plan to bring her back.

Cornette On Kevin Owens’ Title Run

Jim Cornette who infamously criticised Kevin Owens when he was in ROH, had the following to say about his Universal Championship run in an interview with Total Wrestling Magazine:

Everyone tweeted me the next day saying things like ‘I bet Cornette is hanging himself in his closet’ or ‘suck on this’ just like I’m committing suicide because he won a belt. I mean – he’s worked hard, they put the belt on the Miz at one point – if I didn’t hang myself when they put the WWE title on the Miz, I’m certainly not going to do it when they put the belt on Owens.
