Drew McIntyre Returns To WWE

Drew McIntyre has signed a new WWE deal to work on the NXT brand. The former 3MB member was shown on camera at last night’s NXT TakeOver: Orlando and his return was confirmed in a video shared on WWE’s YouTube:

McIntyre who has been a standout on the independents since he left the company, was also interviewed by ESPN. He said he’s gunning for Bobby Roode’s NXT Championship:

“I’ve won championships all across the world. I’ve helped build brands. So what’s the next logical thing for me to do? It’s to come here and win the NXT title. If that’s not clear enough for everybody, Drew McIntyre has signed with NXT.”

Killian Dain At WrestleMania

Following TakeOver it was announced that Sanity’s Killian Dain will be involved in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania:

Dain will join the Performance Center’s Tian Bing as non-roster entrants, while Titus O’Neil, Sin Cara, The Ascension, Kalisto and The Vaudevillians, have all been removed from the match. There will now only be 25 participants.

Angle Will Wrestle In WWE?

Kurt Angle told ESPN yesterday that it’s likely he will wrestle again in a WWE ring. “I do know that there’s a chance of Kurt Angle wrestling again,” the new Hall of Famer told Jonathon Coachman.

“I really think that Kurt Angle is not done wrestling. I think it’s safe to say that I will be wrestling back in that WWE ring again.”

In the meantime the former Olympian will be working as a company ambassador.

The Hardys Say Goodbye To ROH

The Hardy Boys lost the ROH Tag Team Championships to The Young Bucks at last night’s Supercard Of Honor XI, suggesting their rumored WWE return may be sooner than later.

After the match they cut a promo passing the torch to the Bucks and sang that they’ll “fade away and classify ourselves as obsolete.”

Despite the goodbye, Jeff Hardy has claimed they are signed with ROH until the Summer. It’s possible that was just to keep a return at WrestleMania/post-RAW a surprise.

Only time will tell.
