Bodybuilder Chokes To Death

Bodybuilder Dallas McCarver was found dead on Monday after choking on his food. ‘Big Country’, who is the boyfriend of WWE Superstar Dana Brooke, hasn’t been in the best condition since collapsing at the March 2017 Arnold Classic in Australia. It’s not known if this played any role in his death or if anything else contributed to the choking.

Brooke told TMZ that his last words to her were, “I love you. Goodbye,” before he went to make dinner. The 26 year old was found later that evening by a friend.

Brooke also says that there are no signs of foul play and it does not appear McCarver was trying to harm himself.

Reigns Says Flair Is Family

In a recent interview with ESPN Roman Reigns was asked about the Ric Flair situation. “To see something like this happen, I don’t know enough details to share, but all I know is I’m great friends with Ric. I’ve been on many tours and just hung out with him and spoke with him, he’s just such a genuine man. Such a good time, eccentric, such a charismatic person, but such a kind guy,” said the ‘Big Dog.’

“If you’re friends with him, you’ll know it, he’ll love on ya and just all my prayers and thoughts are with him, Charlotte, and the rest of their family. I hope for a speedy recovery, and Ric, bring your butt back, we need you on tour. And that’s coming straight from the ‘Big Dog’ right here. We need ya back, man.”

“Well, for me I’m a generational superstar, my father, my uncle, multiple cousins, [and] my brother, they were all within the WWE, they all wrestled. And that’s one thing you can kind of tell – even all the way up to the McMahons – that this is a family business and it runs deep. Even now, [Ric Flair] has a daughter who’s been a great performer, great champion, and spokesperson for the women of WWE and WWE, in general.”

JR Praises Black vs Itami

Jim Ross discussed calling Aleister Black vs. Hideo Itami at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn, in his latest JRSBARBQ.com Blog:

“It was a blast to broadcast a live match with Mauro Ranallo as that seemed to be something that many fans wanted to experience, including me. Appreciate the hospitality and respect shown me by not only Mauro, but Nigel McGuiness and Percy Watson too. I thought the Aleister Back vs. Hideo Itami bout that we broadcasted was a helluva wrestling match and one that I really enjoyed being a part [of]. Itami seems to be more at ease as a villain and Black could well be a huge star in the making much sooner than later for NXT and subsequently at the next level, too. I love both men’s kicking game as you probably gathered if you watched the match. There is a discernible, unique vibe at NXT events that I have personally experienced from working at two, NXT Takeover events, in Chicago and in Brooklyn. The audience seemingly has made a strong emotional investment in the NXT talents and it shows.”
