Cena the Face of Trash, Goldberg Update, Snuka Won’t Stand Trial

John Cena Endorsing Trash Bags

John Cena has signed a “multi-million dollar” deal to become the face of the Hefty trash bag brand. He’ll appear on new commercials for the “Ultra Strong” version of the bags, and will also fill a spokesperson role.

Goldberg Wrestling Update

In as strong a sign as any that he’ll get back in the ring, Goldberg told WWE.com that he has at least 50 matches left in him. Of course he’s still saying that it will be on his terms:

“I’ve got 50 more (matches) in me. It just depends on the ability to keep it up to my standards. I love everybody to death, and I greatly appreciate their opinions, but none of it matters except for mine because I hold myself to such high standards.”

Jimmy Snuka Not Fit For Trial

A Leigh County judge has ruled that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka is not fit to stand trial for the homicide of his then girlfriend Nancy Argentino in 1983. After assessments of his health, it was deemed that he is suffering from dementia and therefore wouldn’t be able to fairly defend himself.

Judge Kelly L. Banach said she doesn’t think the 73 year old is putting the symptoms on. “I don’t believe he’s faking it. I don’t think he’s smart enough to fake it,” she explained.
