Del Rio Injured, NXT Talent In Olympics, CM Punk UFC Game Update

Alberto Del Rio injured

Brock Lesnar Injures Del Rio?

Alberto Del Rio has reportedly been dealing with a lower back injury since the Royal Rumble when he took a suplex from Brock Lesnar. While he’s still on the road, he hasn’t been wrestling.

NXT Star To Represent Brazil

NXT rookie Adrian Jaoude will represent Brazil at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the freestyle wrestling competition. “It’s awesome,” says the Performance Center’s Robbie Brookside. “Going back to when I was wrestling in England, I knew very good wrestlers that tried to get to there. Seeing Adrian go to the Olympics, it’s like … wow!”

Jaoude joined WWE in October 2015 as part of a class that included Tough Enough winners Josh Bredl and Sara Lee, as well as independent scene standouts Christopher Girard and Rich Swann. Though he may not have had professional wrestling experience like some of his peers, the Brazilian had plenty of familiarity with the amateur style of grappling. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder competed at the state, regional and national level, and was named Best Brazilian Wrestler in the junior category in 2000 and the senior category in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2012. That pedigree helped him pick up the pro game when he arrived at the Performance Center last year.

CM Punk’s Game Rating Lowered

After all the controversy surrounding CM Punk’s high EA UFC 2 rating, the video game company has announced that his actual rating will be low and the number that got around was just part of a draft of the game, not the end product.

Punk has obviously never had a fight so a high rating (representative of his overall skill) wouldn’t make much sense and annoyed lots of UFC fans.
