Steve Austin On Daniel Bryan’s Ring Style

TMZ caught up with Steve Austin to ask about Daniel Bryan’s retirement. Austin suggested Bryan’s in-ring style contributed to his medical issues:

“I just think Daniel Bryan worked a very physical cruiserweight style and finally, after everything he did, it kinda took it out of him. I don’t think it’s going to be an epidemic.”

“Over the past 20 years, there’s only been a couple guys that had to bow out with concussions. Daniel worked his ass off and he was a hard worker, and his style finally caught up with him. It is what it is but I don’t think it’s an epidemic.”

Becky Lynch On Diva’s Revolution

In a recent interview with Press Enterprise Becky Lynch was asked whether the Divas will every main event Wretlemania:

“I think so. I don’t see a single reason why not. What Bayley and Sasha did, they weren’t the main event because of a movement or because it was cool. It was because they’re that good. No one else could follow them. That’s what we’re moving to. It’s pure equality as long as you’re that good and you’re that much of a draw, I think you have every right to be the main event,” she said. “Look at Ronda Rousey and I guess now Holly Holm. It’s a new time and it’s great to be part of it.”

She also discussed getting to cut a promo on Ric Flair:

“It was surreal. I’m jaw jacking with Ric Flair! The entire time I’ve been here. Dusty Rhodes was my mentor and Triple H is your boss. It’s everything you’ve grown up watching and now you’re jaw jacking with Ric Flair. I can’t even explain it other than saying it’s surreal and amazing. I wish kid me was around, like I could bring little Becky around to show her all of this. I’d love to see how she’d react.”
