For years, the heavyweight branch of boxing has been putting on matches full of excitement and competition. Of course, successful boxers who have given their hearts to this sport are the ones that keep this excitement alive. Many names among these have announced their success around the world. Their success has helped them reach millions of fans while also inspiring new boxers. 

Lennox Lewis 

1988 was an important year for Lennox Lewis. Representing Canada at the Olympics held that year, he won a gold medal. Of course, his success continued in the following period after becoming a British citizen. During the 2000 competition with Evander Holyfield, he became the winner of the match. When his retirement came in 2003, he had 41 wins, 32 wins coming by way of knockout, and only 2 losses. 

Anthony Joshua 

Anthony Joshua had a great achievement during the 2012 London Olympics by winning the gold medal. As one of the best British boxers, his successful career continued after becoming a professional boxer in 2013. In the following years, he showed his strength by defeating Charles Martin in 2016. He success was praised by winning WBA, WBO, and IBO titles. Throughout his career, Joshua has exactly 24 wins, 22 wins coming by knockout, and only one loss. 

Tyson Fury 

Tyson Fury is known for his unique tactics in the boxing scene. These original tactics have gained him victories during competitions. Fury’s originality brought him victory during the highly anticipated match against Deontay Wilder in 2020. Until now, he has had 31 wins against names such as Wladimir Klitschko and Dereck Chisora and no losses. 

David Haye 

David Haye is a former cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion with an admirable boxing career. Until now, he proved his success by defeating Nikolai Valuev in 2009 and winning the WBA title. Although he has suffered many injuries throughout his career, Haye is still among the most successful boxers. 

Frank Bruno 

Former heavyweight champion Frank Bruno had much success in the ‘80s and ‘90s. In 1995, he went to the ring with the professional boxer Oliver McCall. In this competition, Bruno became the winner and had the WBC title. Later on, he lost his title to Mike Tyson. However, he is still one of the most successful heavyweight boxers. 

Joe Joyce 

Although Joe Joyce is relatively a new name compared to others, he has also had much success. Initially, he won a silver medal during the 2016 Olympics. In the following years, Joyce had important titles such as Commonwealth and European heavyweight. Until now, he has had 13 wins and no losses.
