Women’s Documentary Online In UK
An independent documentary on WWE’s “Women’s Revolution” recently aired on the UK’s channel 4 and can now be viewed for free online via their on demand service.
“Smashing Glass Ceilings: The Women of WWE” is a compelling, intimate and reverent portrait of the successful revolution within WWE’s Women’s division, against the backdrop of the historic Raw Women’s Championship Hell in a Cell Match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair. Also featured in the documentary are Stephanie McMahon, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Nikki Bella, Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch and Finn Bálor, among other WWE Superstars.
Jerry Lawler Never Left?
Despite being removed from his on camera roles and making a “big return” on SmackDown, Jerry Lawler recently told Bill Apter that he was never actually without a contract.
I was never not signed to the WWE. My old contract came up for renewal and I just signed another one year contract like I’ve bee doing for… I dunno… the last twenty something years now? At one time I had three year contracts, then two years and then for the past couple, maybe 7-8 years, it’s just been one year. They usually just have me sign a one year contract. So I was never not under contract to WWE.
