Sasha Banks Out Injured
It looks like Sasha Banks is taking time off for another minor injury. She hasn’t worked since the December 28th RAW against Becky Lynch. It’s not clear what the issue is, but she’s still on the road.
WWE Props Up EVOLVE Shows
As part of WWE’s working relationship with independent promotion EVOLVE, they have allowed them to run shows near the location of Royal Rumble in Florida. Flyers for the events were handed out at yesterday’s NXT tapings.
WWE are usually good at getting indy wrestling blackballed when they run an area, and there’s no way they would allow flyers at NXT unless there was an agreement.
WWE Films NXT Kids
WWE filmed new footage for the NXT Kids concept during yesterday’s tapings. Two kids did commentary, while Bayley superfan Izzy did ring announcing.

Becky Lynch took on Natalya for the show.
Indy Names Work NXT
Rich Swann made his debut during yesterday’s taping, while former TNA Knockout Santana Garrett lost a match to Asuka. It’s not believed she has contract.
Jordan and Gable Get Name
In other NXT news Jordan and Gable are now using the team name American Alpha.
SmackDown Debuts On USA
Thursday saw SmackDown’s premiere on the US Network, with new lead announcer Mauro Ranallo. He discussed the debut in a Fallout video:
