Carlito To Get Second Chance?
According to former WWE creative writer Court Bauer and Konnan on their MLW Radio show, Carlito could be on his way back to WWE as they are in desperate need of a Hispanic star.
The former US and IC champ was released in 2010 after months of having a bad attitude and “phoning it in.” The final straw was breaking the Wellness Policy and refusing to go to rehab.
The 36 year old is still in good ring shape and is said to have made a good impression when he inducted his father Carlos Colon in to the 2014 Hall of Fame. So perhaps WWE will give him a second chance.
CM Punk and AJ Lee In Movie
CM Punk and AJ Lee have bagged roles in upcoming action movie Hellstorm:
After the collapse of the world’s financial system and a devastating world war, a group of mismatched survivors are forced to band together and battle a variety of unexplainable and horrific beasts that descend on their tiny makeshift community.
Foley Sees Big Things For Apollo Crews
Mick Foley predicted big things for NXT’s Apollo Crews in a new Facebook blog:
DID I JUST SEE THAT? That’s what I kept asking myself while catching up on NXT last night, and seeing Apollo Crews in action. While the road to stardom to WWE can be paved with roadblocks – both physical and psychological – I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see this man playing a major role on WWE Raw, Smackdown and PPV for years to come.
I think the major consensus is this guy is a rising star, and if a few breaks fall in his favor, the sky seems to be the limit for him in WWE. As is usually the case, finding the right opponents, and creating memorable programs – as opposed to having a good series of random matches – is the key to really breaking through in sports entertainment.
