Kofi Injury Confirmed, Lita Tweets Hardys, JR Doesn’t Want Full Time Gig
WWE Confirms Kofi Kingston’s Injury
WWE have confirmed that Kofi Kingston is injured following an image Tweeted by Big E. of the New Day member in a hospital bed last week.
The official website notes that he suffered an ankle injury during the match with the debuting Revival and will need several weeks off to recover. The procedure he underwent was “to remove bone chips from the damaged joint.”
It’s likely the injury actually happened at some other point, but for storyline purposes they are hyping that The Revival ‘attacked’ Kingston.
Lita Wishes Hardys Luck
I wish @MATTHARDYBRAND and @JEFFHARDYBRAND all this best in this chapter with @WWE Go get 'em boyz!!

Jim Ross Isn’t With WWE Full Time
Jim Ross noted in his latest JRSBARBQ.com blog that he has “zero interest in returning to the road full time for anyone on a weekly basis” at this stage in his career.
As previously noted JR’s contract is for two years and requires him to work only a limited number of dates at the announcer’s table, as well as projects for the Network.
