Jerry Lawler Arrested For Domestic Violence

Legendary WWE announcer Jerry Lawler and his fiancée Lauryn McBride, were both arrested this morning for domestic violence. As per the WWE Wellness Policy, Lawler is indefinitely suspended from the company until such a time that he clears his name.

The Hall of Famer told Memphis police that the incident started when 27 year old McBride came home drunk and lied about her whereabouts. He says she scratched him in the face, threw a candle at him and kicked him in the groin. McBride says Lawler pushed her around the kitchen and hit her in the face. A gun was out during the fight but not used.

They were both booked into the Shelby County jail in the early hours of this morning as it could not be determined who the aggressor was.

If The King is convicted of a crime, his WWE contract will be automatically terminated.
