Flair Remembers Dusty, NXT At Festival, Austin Takes Viagra
Ric Flair Remembers His Foe and Friend
Ric Flair gave more thoughts on the passing of Dusty Rhodes on Facebook. The two had some legendary battles over the NWA title and Dusty was very much Flair’s inspiration to get in to the wrestling business:
All I wanted to be in 1972 was Rambling Ricky Rhodes. The Dream told me “you can make it on your own.” He mentored me and taught me how to be a star. Dusty used to say “If you are going to pass by… why not in a Cadillac??” He’s the man who invented A Flair for the Gold and was a genius way ahead of his time. Much love to your family and more respect than can ever be measured.
He was the definition of heart and soul and I’m honored to have shared the ring with him countless times.
He became the ‘American Dream’ because wrestling needed a hero they could respect, and he was the man for the job. Dusty Rhodes, I will miss you my mentor and friend.
Flair’s daughter Charlotte Tweeted the following photo:

NXT Running Shows At Music Festivals
With NXT now on tour fans are getting to experience the show at many unique locations. In October the crew will be performing at the “Louder Than Life” music festival in Louisville, Kentucky, which will also feature bands and acts like Breaking Benjamin, Three Doors Down, Seether, Chevelle, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, Slash, Collective Soul, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more.
Later in the same month they’ll be at the AFTERSHOCK Festival in Sacramento, California.
It would be cool if WWE cameras could at least capture some highlights from some of these unique shows.
Steve Austin Not Ashamed By Viagra Use
It looks like pharmaceutical manufacturer Pfizer could have found their new spokesperson, as Steve Austin has come out as proud Viagra user. On a recent episode of his podcast the WWE Hall of Famer had the following to say:
I take Viagra. I also take Cialis, but you never take those things at the same time. If you’re going to take Viagra, you stick with the Viagra. If you’re going to take Cialis, stick with the Cialis. You can’t flip-flop back-and-forth, it’s bad for you medically. Now, you say, ‘Steve, you can’t f*ck without Viagra?!’ I can f*ck without Viagra or Cialis, but I f*ck better with Viagra than if I don’t take Viagra. At 50 years of age, I’m into reality and the reality is at 50 I’ve got more years behind me than I do in front of me. So, I wanna enjoy these next few motherf*cking years to the maximum enjoyment that I can enjoy. So, therefore, I choose to take a PED called Viagra or Cialis, because it makes me f*ck better, and when I f*ck, I’m pretty goddamn happy.
Speaking of the Steve Austin Podcast he recently revealed that he’s contracted to do 11 more shows on the WWE Network, including guests The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Sting!
