Dolph Ziggler Staying With WWE
Despite rumors that he was planning to let his contract expire PWInsider.com are reporting that Dolph Ziggler has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE. The 34 year old former World champ has been with the company for over a decade now.
Sabu Has Heat With Big Show?
When a fan on Twitter praised Sabu’s SummerSlam 2006 match against Big Show, the ECW original replied suggesting there was heat between the duo:
I really liked wrestling dudes way bigger than me .. The bigger they R the louder they stooge you off to Vin..lol
Interestingly the Tweet has since been deleted.

Torrie Wilson Remembers Kissing Vince
Former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson was the latest guest on JR’s Podcast and recalled being booked to kiss Vince McMahon in her first official night with the company, with Linda McMahon looking on:
First day backstage, I was so nervous. Vince is an intimidating man, and I’d just met him, so of course he’s even more intimidating. To have to kiss someone that you’re physically scared of, that’s frightening. I remember Linda telling me when we were filming ‘just go for it,’ and I was thinking ‘this is so messed up right now.’ We didn’t rehearse, we just kind of walked through what we were going to do. One take. Her being there made me feel more comfortable.
Bruno Sammartino Has Back Surgery
WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino recently underwent back surgery. His manager released the following statement:
For the better part of a month Bruno Sammartino has been in the hospital.
It was determined that he had to have another back surgery The surgery went well and he is home now recuperating.
The surgical team was lead by Dr. Joseph Maroon who has been Bruno’s physician for many years.
I have been in contact with Bruno throughout the month and today. He has given me to go ahead to post this publicly.
He was in great spirits and we are all looking forward to his 100% recovery.
Mysterio Signs Big Deal
Former WWE star Rey Mysterio has signed a big money deal to endorse Paramount Pictures in Mexico. So far he is featured in commercials in theatres to introduce the upcoming movies.
