Lawler’s Suspension Over, Why Moose Isn’t In WWE, Lesnar Talks Steroids
Jerry Lawler Charges Dropped
The domestic violence charges against Jerry Lawler have been dropped, which in turn has lifted his WWE suspension. The 66 year old was accused of getting physical with his 27 year old fiancé Lauryn McBride.
“We got into a little bit of a shouting match and then she wanted to leave,” Lawler told WMC Action News 5 . “I was not going to let her leave in the car, because she was just not in any condition to drive. She got more and more upset, she called 9-1-1 and scratched my face in the process. The police came in and said that this was a domestic dispute and that they were ‘going to have to take both of you guys downtown'”.
How This Affected Moose
According to the Wrestling Observer independent wrestler Moose has been affected by both the Jerry Lawler and Adam Rose situations. The ROH star was on the path to signing with WWE but it’s believed they postponed the process because he was accused of domestic violence in 2009. The company didn’t want any news outlets framing them as an organisation that condones domestic abuse.
Lesnar Responds To Steroids Claim
In a recent media conference call to promote UFC 200, Brock Lesnar responded to claims from opponent Mark Hunt that he’s on steroids:
“What do you want me to say? I’m a white boy, and I’m jacked!” Lesnar said. “Deal with it.”
