Alberto Del Rio Returns, Undertaker and Lesnar Blade? Undertaker Staying, RAW Preview
Del Rio Answers Cena’s Challenge
Alberto Del Rio made his shocking return at Hell In A Cell by answering John Cena’s US Open Challenge. Fans were somewhat disappointed when Zeb Colter came out on a motroized scooter, assuming Jack Swagger would soon follow, however Colter has changed his xenophobic ways and called for all cultures to come together. He then introduced Del Rio.
I'm grateful for a 2nd chance to come back to @WWE #hellinacell and I'm happy to be performing again
— Alberto Del Rio (@VivaDelRio) October 26, 2015
According to the Wrestling Observer the racism scandal has clearly been buried as it was Triple H who signed him back.
Interestingly Del Rio is still the AAA Champion and it’s possible WWE will let him finish up some dates to get the title off him.
WWE Changes Bleeding Policy?
Either WWE have changed their no blood policy or Undertaker and Brock Lesnar decided to take any repercussions, as both men were busted wide open in their match and Lesnar clearly did it deliberately. In fact it caught the announcers off guard as when Lesnar’s head hit the ring post he got his hand up and they played it down. The next second he was bleeding and they had to explain that he did in fact hit his head hard.
Lesnar and others have been accused of deliberately bleeding before, but because blades weren’t used they can just claim it was “hardway”. It’s not clear if blades were actually used tonight.
It doesn’t look like they’re going to be fined and the fact that Lesnar attacked the doctor would suggest it was planned or at least improvised.
Undertaker Staying For Survivor Series
During the event The Undertaker was advertised for Survivor Series as “25 Years of the Undertaker.” After his losing effort to Lesnar, which involved an F5 on the exposed wooden boards of the ring, the Wyatts attacked and carried him backstage. So Expect Survivor Series to be the Wyatts vs Undertaker, Kane, and likely Ambrose.
