Paige says Diva’s Revolution needed Kick in the Ass

Paige discussed her turn on Charlotte and Becky Lynch in a new interview with Channel Guide Magazine:

“I felt like the whole ‘Divas Revolution’ thing started to get stale,” she said.

“I thought it definitely needed a kick in the ass a little bit. Vince [McMahon] and our writers were so cool with the promo. They definitely gave me the freedom to say what I wanted. I kept it as tame as possible. I wanted to go a little bit harder, but I thought, ‘Nah, I’ll save it.’

“It was definitely an adrenaline rush. I wanted to be the bad guy and am happy to be the bad guy. I don’t mind being hated. But the crowd was so receptive to it and great. They were cheering most of it. I was like, ‘No, that’s not the way it was supposed to be.’ It was great. I was very nervous before doing it. I just wanted to get out there and kick some butt and light a fire under the ‘Divas Revolution’ again.”

Speaking of Paige she dropped the F-Bomb during a live Facebook Q&A yesterday after somebody jokingly called her a bitch off camera, not realizing what she was doing. She then had an exchange with Scott Armstrong who said she wasn’t allowed to say that. The archived clip has since been removed, but here is a mirror:

Dolph Ziggler Getting Push?

It seems it has taken a Total Divas storyline to get Dolph Ziggler back in the spotlight, as he’s expected to begin feuding with John Cena so the clips can be used for the reality show. For those that missed the finale they did a storyline where Ziggler told Nikki Bella he still had feelings for her and tried to kiss her. The two were once a real life couple but this is a completely staged incident.

The Rock’s Dog Eats Deadly Mushroom

Sad news for The Rock who had to put one of his dogs down after it consumed a poisonous mushroom. He posted the following on Instagram:

Another reminder we have to live and love as greatly as we can today, because tomorrow is never guaranteed. At approximately 11:15pm last night myself and @laurenhashianofficial had to make the painful decision to end Brutus' suffering by taking him off of life support and sending his soul to pup heaven. I held his lil' paw as he was finally at peace. As all puppies and dogs do, he ate a mushroom while playing outside with his brother Hobbs. This mushroom happened to have a lethal toxicity and within hours it was rapidly destroying his liver and immune system to the point of no return. I encourage all of you out there to be mindful of mushrooms in your yards, parks or anywhere outside your dogs play. What looks innocent, can be deadly to your lil' family members. Thank you Dr. Deckelbaum and Dr. West and the incredibly caring nurses and staff at The Animal Medical Center At Cooper City.
