Lucha Underground Star’s Status

It was rumored earlier this week that Lucha Underground star “Prince Puma” Ricochet was headed to NXT or at least the Global Cruiserweight series. He recently cleared his bookings, giving rise to the speculation. However he seemed to deny the rumors in a recent Tweet:

Speaking of Lucha Underground, the company has revoked MVP’s contract (which he only recently signed) because he was too open about it publicly. They also claimed he spoiled the show by interviewing some of the stars. He addressed the situation in a new video:

Meanwhile ROH star Cedric Alexander is another name expected to be in the Global Cruiserweight Series.

Bobby Roode Yet To Sign Deal?

Despite appearing at TakeOver Dallas and riding on their tour bus, Bobby Roode says he has yet to actually sign an NXT/WWE deal:

“I’m not officially signed yet. The Internet has blown up over it, and I mean I’m close, but I don’t want to spoil anything or ruin anything,” the former TNA star told The Examiner. “I want to wait until it’s official. I don’t want to jinx anything either.”

Roode’s former partner James Storm was criticized for showing up, not signing a deal and then going back to TNA. However he says they made him a better offer.

Nakamura Busted Open

Shinsuke Nakamura was busted open during his match against Manny Andrade at the NXT house show yesterday. He was forced to get cleaned up before the match continued.
