Kurt Angle Has Emergency Surgery
TNA star Kurt Angle was rushed to hospital yesterday after his body went numb and he had trouble breathing. Emergency surgery was then performed to relieve fluid that had built up around his spinal cord.
This was a complication following his recent tumor removal. Although that surgery itself was not thought to be serious, obviously something went wrong along the way.
A statement on Angle’s Twitter account notes that “surgery went well and doctors believe he will have a full recovery.”
He has had to cancel an appearance in the UK today, but it’s not clear if he’ll miss next week’s Impact tapings.
The Undertaker and Sting Returning To WWE
According to the Wrestling Observer both Sting and The Undertaker are scheduled to return to WWE TV soon to begin building towards something at Summerslam. At this stage it’s not clear if they’re wrestling, but both of them coming back would suggest they’re doing something together.
The duo reportedly shared a locker room and travel during Wrestlemania weekend, so perhaps they worked something out?
