No Talks Between WWE and Hogan

Despite his daughter Brooke telling TMZ that he’d been contacted for WrestleMania, Hulk Hogan himself denied he’s been in talks on Eric Bischoff’s podcast.

“I know if I don’t bring it up nobody will. So anyway, Brooke’s running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven’t talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, ‘What are you doing?’ She goes, ‘Oh, well, I’m just starting it up.’ I said, ‘Thanks Brooke.’ It was kind of funny. I said, ‘No harm. No foul.’ It was all in good fun.”

Meanwhile Finn Balor was asked about Hogan possibly returning to WWE in an interview with Screen Geek:

“Obviously, the expression is [that] anything can happen in the WWE, and me as a fan, I would love Hulk Hogan to come back. I don’t know if that’s possible, but a lot stranger things have happened in the past, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility one bit – and I’d love it. If I got an opportunity to wrestle Hulk Hogan, that would be even better.”

Kevin Owens brought out his best friend Chris Jericho to celebrate his 46th birthday at yesterday’s house show in Berlin, but Seth Rollins ensured it wasn’t a happy occasion:

Shawn Michaels Leading Performance Center?

According to Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels has taken some kind of leadership role at the WWE Performance Center. Speaking with Kevin Gill he said:

“Oh yeah, he’s [Michaels] moving to Florida with the family and everything. If you thought that NXT was something wait til that son of a b—h gets down there and gives them his magic. There is nobody better than him. Physically nobody better. Psychology nobody better. It’s going to be a game changer. I don’t know what the hell they are paying him but it’s got to be a lot because to get Shawn to do the 9-5.

“His son wants to do graphic design. His daughter wants to be a veterinarian. Sea World is down there. There’s a lot of advantages to being in Orlando over Abilene, TX. Nothing against Abilene. I hear there’s a lot of good things going on there.”

Revival Don’t Escape Toronto

Although they managed to worm their way out of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, the Revival won’t be able to escape TakeOver: Toronto. William Regal announced on this week’s NXT that they will defend the Tag championships against Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
