Shane Hell In A Cell

How Shane’s Stunt Was Done

Shane McMahon’s shocking leap off the Hell In A Cell was not performed on to a regular announce table. It was supported with a stunt air-bag which cushioned his fall somewhat. Obviously that does not take anything away from the risk and the pain he’s going to be in today. The fall was even higher than Mick Foley’s and no amount of padding is going to make that safe and easy.

Fortunately there doesn’t seem to be any permanent damage as Shane has been spotted up and about in Dallas.

Roman’s Dad Celebrating

With majority boos, people leaving the stadium and unrelated chants, there was at least one voice of support for Roman Reigns last night. His father and WWE Hall of Famer Sika of the Wild Samoans:

A happy Samoan

Speaking of Reigns he was on the Today Show this morning to discuss his victory:

WWE Didn’t Break 100,000

Unfortunately WWE is never honest with their WrestleMania attendance records. Although The Rock announced 101,746, the Wrestling Observer reports that it was actually between 93,000 and 94,000. This is still a legit record for WWE.

One part of WWE’s press release that probably is true is this:

WrestleMania 32 became the highest grossing live event in WWE history as the annual pop-culture extravaganza grossed $17.3 million. Last year’s WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California previously held WWE’s record for gross revenue at $12.6 million.

RAW Preview

WWE are hyping the fact that the post-WrestleMania RAW is always the most crazy (or smarky):

They are hyping the following points on the website:

– What does the future hold for Raw?

– Who’s coming after the all-new WWE Women’s Championship?

– Is John Cena returning to Raw?

– How does Ambrose come back from the carnage?

– How long can WrestleMania’s Cinderella Man (Zack Ryder’s) make the moment last?

It’s not clear whether Baron Corbin is now on the main roster even though he won the Battle Royal, but perhaps he will be at RAW.

Surprises

The obvious speculation is that the Balor Club will debut tonight, since it never happened at WrestleMania. It’s also believed that Enzo & Cass may be getting called up tonight.

Brie Has Retired

Brie’s mother confirmed it on social media and now Brie herself has essentially confirmed she is retiring.

Daniel Bryan wrote:

So proud of this woman! My wife, my rock and the love of my life… Not only did she do a great job tonight, but she’s poured her heart into wrestling for the last 8+ years. I am truly the luckiest man alive to be with her… Now let’s work on that baby making! :)

It’s possible she has a formal goodbye tonight.
