The Godfather Announced For WWE Hall of Fame
WWE have announced The Godafther (Charles Wright) as the latest name for the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame class.
It ain’t easy being The Godfather. But after a long career, the highly entertaining Superstar will receive sports-entertainment’s biggest honor. As first reported by Bleacher Report, he is the latest inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016.
Remembered most to WWE audiences as a fun-loving staple of the Attitude Era, The Godfather’s journey to the Hall of Fame was certainly one wild train ride.
In the late ‘90s he was most recognizable for being the muscle of The Nation of Domination, but as that group began to slowly disband, The Godfather seemingly began to have more and more women accompany him to ringside every week.
This trend continued after The Nation officially split and The Godfather quickly transitioned into one of the WWE Universe’s most beloved Superstars, both for his attractive supporting cast and for his enigmatic charisma and charm.
It’s curious that they haven’t mentioned his run as Papa Shango.
JBL and Ron Simmons will jointly induct him.
John Cena To Defy Science
It looks like John Cena will once again return from injury earlier than expected.

If the rumors are true, he could be facing The Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
Sunny Selling HOF Ring On Pawn Stars
Tammy “Sunny” Sytch will be featured on Wednesday’s episode of reality show Pawn Stars, trying to sell her WWE Hall of Fame ring. The item never actually gets sold and it’s still in her possession. It was probably never really going to be sold in the first place, after all “reality” shows are about as legit as wrestling.
AJ Styles’ TNA Theme Used At Fastlane
Did anybody else catch AJ Styles’ latter TNA theme “Evil Ways” at Fastlane? They used it during the Wyatts vs Big Show, Kane and Ryback video package.
