Lesnar UFC Return Update, Daniel Bryan In Weightlifting Contest, Adam Rose Update

UFC Upset Over Lesnar Leak

Although news that Brock Lesnar is returning to UFC has sent shockwaves throughout the MMA and wrestling world, UFC were not happy that they weren’t the ones to break the story. MMA reporter Ariel Helwani revealed that he and others have been banned from the promotion’s events:

“I was escorted out of the building by Zuffa staff before the main event. Credential taken away, too. Didn’t see Bisping realize his dream. My long-time colleagues @ekc and @allelbows were also escorted out of the building w/ me. Sorry to report no post-fight coverage tonight. I love this sport & this job with all my heart. Did nothing unethical. I reported fight news. That’s it. & then told we’re banned for life. My teammates and friends @Ekc and @allelbows are the very best at what they do. I wish they didn’t have to leave with me. They did nothing. Here’s hoping cooler heads prevail. I sincerely love every fighter & fan of this sport. You have helped me realize a dream. Thank you.”

Lesnar is booked for UFC 200 on July 9th in Las Vegas. It will be a “one off” fight and he is still under contract with WWE.

Daniel Bryan Competes In Olympic Lifting

Daniel Bryan remains active now that his wrestling career is over. On Saturday he competed in his first-ever Olympic style weightlifting competition in his hometown of Aberdeen, Washington:
